That was nice........real nice.

Izzy turned 2 last weekend! Can you believe it? Here she is channeling her inner rock chick. She got a guitar and loved it!!! Just one problem......this is a drum family.......who didn't get the memo?





Flip and I got back today from a weekend trip to Raleigh/Chapel Hill. We walked more yesterday than either one of us has in a long time. All that walking and Meredith's bookstore was closed!!!! Argh!!!! Here's a picture of the newly refurbished YMCA on UNC's campus. It is gorgeous inside. Hard to believe it was a snack shop when we were there. They were having an event inside, so sorry....but I only took an outside shot.


Yesterday and today were both gorgeous in North Carolina. We drove from Chapel Hill to Hooterville and didn't see one cloud! The Old Well and the azaleas in full bloom were just spectacular. Mike and I tried to get out and enjoy the weather a little bit this afternoon. We took Moa on an extended walk and then went and hung out on the patio at Fox and Hound. We saw two of the biggest dogs I have ever seen in my life. They were HUGE!!


Here's a picture from Flip's birthday gathering a couple of weeks ago. As usual we had a big crowd and a great time (even if Mike could only drink water....thank goodness lent is over). I think when all is said and done we had about 30 people......just goes to show you how great you are Flip!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Virginia Tech Family. There are no words that seem sufficient at a time like this......., so from a couple of Heels to the Hokies......our hearts go out to you.
