2nd Annual Rockin' With Ribbons - Vegas Style Presented by Grant Thornton Hosted by Elevate Magazine and Rockhouse Events Date: May 16th, 2008, 5-10 pm Venue: Sunset Club 1820 South Blvd Price: $15 in advance, $20 night of event Details: Live jazz on the patio, heavy hor d'oeuvres drink specials, casino themed games for fabulous prizes, Silent auction with exclusive entertainment and sports memorabilia. DJ later in the evening VIP and "High Roller" Areas are available for purchase, availability is limited. It's Vegas style! We will have roulette, blackjack, and craps with professional dealers, chips distributed with ticket sales with additional chips available with donation suggested. Thursday Night-Come out to support a great cause!!

Angie was a fellow charter member of Sigma Sigma Sigma with me at UNC. She passed away a couple of months ago in a car accident on 77. Please come out and support a great cause and remember a girl who always had a smile on her face.

Thursday, April 24th, NV presents a Benefit Night in Honor of ANGIE FLORES-HAGER from 6:30 - 10:30 help raise money for the STARFISH Summer Camp Program at the Lake Norman and Lowe's YMCA. The goal is to provide books for elementary children or schools in need. $25.00 per person and a Children's Book. There will be Food and a Cash Bar. DJ Bob will be providing the music to get you moving on the dance floor. If you can not attend but would like to make a donation, make checks payable to LN YMCA referencing Angie's name in the memo line.

Wicked

One of my co[workers just asked...."so was Wicked really wicked"?......The witch, no.....but the play sure was. It was absolutely amazing!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you to Mike for getting us the tickets. I'd go back every night if it wasn't already sold out.

If it comes anywhere near you....RUN don't walk and spend whatever you have to. It is WELL worth it. And if you haven't read the book, do that too :-).

Happy Birthday Izzy!!!

It's a little belated, but here's a picture from the post ACC tournament semifinals in Charlotte. We were a much happier crowd that night than last week :-(. Thanks to Uncle Luther for the great meal at Morton's!
