Meet Rockette

This was a story on charlotte.com that really touched me. Any of you that know me well, know that any animal story always makes me stop. I'd own a zoo if I could (minus the snakes).

Anyway, a lady found Rockette on the side of the road on a neighborhood walk. Her mother had been sent to squirrel heaven, but little Rockette survived. The lady found a couple who specializes in squirrel rehab and now Rockette is thriving on her own.





This just goes to show what can happen when someone takes time out of their busy day to help another living creature (human or otherwise). I know I could be better at this....and I'm glad this story reminded me of that.
